1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Beyond The Face website and the aesthetic treatments and services we provide. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Consultations

All new clients are required to attend a consultation before receiving any injectable or advanced aesthetic treatment. During this consultation, we will:

  • Assess your suitability for treatment
  • Discuss your aesthetic goals and expectations
  • Review your medical history
  • Explain the treatment process, risks, and aftercare
  • Provide a personalised treatment plan and quotation

Consultations are complimentary and come with no obligation to proceed with treatment. However, we reserve the right to decline treatment if we believe it is not in your best interest.

3. Booking & Appointments

Appointments can be booked through our online booking system, by telephone, or by email. By booking an appointment, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide is accurate and complete
  • You are at least 18 years of age (we do not treat minors)
  • You will inform us of any changes to your medical history or medications
  • You understand and accept these Terms and Conditions

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • 48+ hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling at no charge
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% of treatment cost may be charged
  • Less than 24 hours notice or no-show: Full treatment cost may be charged

Cancellations can be made by phone, email, or through your booking confirmation. We appreciate as much notice as possible so we can offer the appointment to other clients.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due at the time of treatment unless otherwise agreed
  • We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, and bank transfers
  • Deposits may be required for certain treatments or packages
  • Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice
  • All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable

6. Treatment Consent

Before any treatment, you will be asked to sign a consent form. By signing, you confirm that:

  • You have disclosed all relevant medical information
  • You understand the treatment procedure and potential risks
  • You have had the opportunity to ask questions
  • You consent to the treatment being performed
  • You understand that results may vary and are not guaranteed

7. Medical Contraindications

Certain conditions may prevent us from performing treatments safely. You must inform us if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Have any allergies (particularly to lidocaine or other anaesthetics)
  • Are taking blood-thinning medications
  • Have any autoimmune conditions
  • Have active skin infections or conditions in the treatment area
  • Have had recent dental work (for facial treatments)
  • Have any other medical conditions that may affect treatment

We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe there is a medical contraindication, even if not listed above.

8. Results & Expectations

Aesthetic treatments produce varying results depending on individual factors. While we strive to achieve your desired outcomes:

  • Results are not guaranteed and may vary between individuals
  • Some treatments require multiple sessions for optimal results
  • Results may not be immediately visible and can take days or weeks to develop
  • Maintenance treatments may be necessary to sustain results

9. Aftercare

Following your treatment, you will receive aftercare instructions. It is essential that you follow these instructions to:

  • Optimise your results
  • Minimise the risk of complications
  • Ensure proper healing

We are not responsible for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions. If you experience any concerns post-treatment, please contact us immediately.

10. Complaints & Concerns

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have any concerns about your treatment:

  • Contact us within 14 days of your treatment
  • We will arrange a review appointment at no additional charge
  • If a top-up or correction is clinically appropriate, this will be provided

Please note that dissatisfaction with results that fall within normal variation does not entitle you to a refund. All complaints are handled in accordance with our complaints procedure.

11. Photography

We may request to take photographs before and after treatment for:

  • Your medical records
  • Treatment planning and comparison
  • Marketing purposes (only with your explicit written consent)

You have the right to decline photography for marketing purposes without affecting your treatment. Medical photography for your records is standard practice and helps us monitor your progress.

12. Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure safe and effective treatments:

  • We are not liable for results that fall within normal variation
  • We are not liable for complications arising from undisclosed medical information
  • We are not liable for failure to follow aftercare instructions
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the treatment received

We maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance for all treatments provided.

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Beyond The Face or our licensors and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
