Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 14 December 2025

Welcome to Beyond The Face. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By booking a treatment or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Beyond The Face is a medical aesthetics clinic located at 19 Vale Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN1 1BS. We provide aesthetic treatments including Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, LED therapy, and other regenerative skin treatments. Our services are provided by qualified medical professionals with appropriate training and insurance.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking a consultation, or receiving treatments at Beyond The Face, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1 Booking Process

Appointments can be booked through our website, by phone, or by email. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual at our discretion.

3.2 Consultation Requirement

A consultation is required before certain treatments, particularly injectable treatments (Botox, dermal fillers). During the consultation, we will assess your suitability for treatment, discuss your goals, and answer any questions.

3.3 Medical History

You must provide accurate and complete medical history information. Failure to disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications may result in adverse reactions and may void our liability.

3.4 Arrival Time

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete any necessary paperwork. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or rescheduling.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

4.1 Cancellation Notice

We require at least 48 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the treatment cost.

4.2 No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice ("no-show") may result in a charge of up to 100% of the treatment cost. Repeated no-shows may result in a requirement for advance payment for future appointments.

4.3 Clinic Cancellations

In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment (e.g., due to illness, emergency), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer alternative dates. We are not liable for any consequential losses arising from such cancellations.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed price.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, and card payments (via secure payment processors). Payment is typically due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.3 Deposits

Certain treatments or treatment packages may require a deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to alternative treatments or dates subject to our cancellation policy.

5.4 Treatment Packages

Treatment packages must be used within the specified validity period (typically 6-12 months from purchase). Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable to other individuals.

6. Treatment Consent and Risks

6.1 Informed Consent

Before receiving treatment, you will be required to sign a consent form acknowledging that you understand the procedure, potential risks, benefits, and aftercare requirements. It is your responsibility to ask questions and ensure you are fully informed.

6.2 Treatment Suitability

Not all treatments are suitable for everyone. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we determine it is not in your best interest or if you have contraindications.

6.3 Risks and Side Effects

All medical aesthetic treatments carry some degree of risk. Common side effects may include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, or temporary discomfort. Serious complications are rare but possible. You will be informed of all relevant risks during your consultation.

6.4 Results and Expectations

Results from aesthetic treatments vary from person to person. While we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, we cannot guarantee specific results. Before-and-after photos shown on our website or social media are for illustrative purposes only and may not represent your individual results.

7. Aftercare and Follow-Up

7.1 Aftercare Instructions

You will receive aftercare instructions following your treatment. It is essential that you follow these instructions carefully to optimize results and minimize the risk of complications.

7.2 Follow-Up Appointments

Some treatments may require follow-up appointments to assess results or provide additional treatment. These will be discussed during your consultation.

7.3 Contact in Case of Concerns

If you experience any unusual symptoms, adverse reactions, or have concerns following treatment, please contact us immediately. We provide aftercare support and will address any issues promptly.

8. Photography and Marketing

8.1 Before and After Photos

With your written consent, we may take before-and-after photographs for your medical records and for marketing purposes. You have the right to refuse photography or to specify that images are for medical records only.

8.2 Use of Images

If you consent to the use of your images for marketing purposes, these may be used on our website, social media, promotional materials, or other marketing channels. Your identity will be kept confidential unless you provide additional consent.

8.3 Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent for the use of your images at any time by contacting us in writing. We will remove your images from future marketing materials, though we may not be able to recall materials already in circulation.

9. Liability and Insurance

9.1 Professional Indemnity

Beyond The Face maintains appropriate professional indemnity insurance for all treatments provided. Our practitioners are fully qualified and insured.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beyond The Face, its practitioners, and staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your treatment or use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the treatment in question.

9.3 Disclaimer

Medical aesthetic treatments involve inherent risks. By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree not to hold Beyond The Face liable for any outcomes that are within the normal range of expected results or complications, provided that appropriate standards of care have been followed.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
